PETITION LAUNCHED !

We are calling for the immediate suspension of Clinglobal’s operation permits in Mauritius, pending a full and independent investigation.
According to a leaked internal report from the Mauritius Society for Animal Welfare (MSAW), revealed in September 2025, domestic dogs and cats were transferred for experimental use between 2019–2020. *(evidence)
This raises serious legal and ethical concerns, as Mauritian law prohibits experimentation on domestic animals and only permits animal research when it demonstrably benefits human or animal life.
Despite formal depositions made to the Central Criminal Investigation Department (CCID) and public statements by the Minister of Agro-Industry, Arvin Boolell, that an inquiry would be carried out and action shall be taken — no official findings or actions have been released to date.
Further concerns point to conflicts of interest, including links between individuals involved in the transfer use of the dogs and cats and primate breeding operations. Clinglobal’s laboratory activities are reportedly tied to such facilities, while the company continues to promote services involving canine models and non-human primate testing in Mauritius.
This is not just about one case — it is about rule of law, transparency, and the ethical boundaries of scientific research.
We are calling for answers. We are calling for accountability.

If the law is ignored without consequence, what does that mean for the future?
